This time of year college basketball playoffs go into overdrive, allergy season goes into high gear and we pack our bags for Atlassian Team in Vegas!

Atlassian Team ‘23 promises to be fun, informative and even a bit sassy. After all, what happens in Vegas stays there. Unless, that is, you win our Guitar Giveaway. In that case you’ll be bringing home the coolest of guitars, a Fender Stratocaster (don’t worry—we provide a case!) It’s up to you to invest in some lessons.

Our guitar giveaway (this year is #11) always attracts a crowd. Get ahead of the game: sign up in advance and schedule a chat with our savvy Rocketeers at Booth 58. You’ll be amazed at their deep Atlassian expertise, built on a 20+ year Atlassian relationship that keeps on growing. That know-how is in every solution, process and service we provide. Come see us!

Keynotes of note

The keynote speakers at Team ‘23 are both visionaries: Academy Award-Winning filmmaker and Avatar visionary James Cameron and Van Jones, CNN Host, President of Magic Labs Media and winner of Jeff Bezos’ $100M Courage and Civility Award.

Here are a few other notable keynotes you’ll want to attend:

  • Impossible Alone: Charting a new era of teamwork. Atlassian co-founders Mike Cannon-Brookes and Scott Farquhar are joined by Anu Bharadwaj, recently named President of Atlassian.
  • Smells like team spirit. Nirvana fans unite! This keynote explains how to connect into a full view of work across your dev, IT, and business teams.
  • The art and science of teamwork. This session looks at how to prioritize ideas and initiatives that drive the most business-critical results with Atlassian tools.

Weather Cloud Migration

With less than a year to go until the end of Server, the countdown is on. Don’t panic—we’ve got your back!

Inform yourself about Cloud migration before you even land in Vegas. Start with this informative post: Make Sure Your Atlassian Cloud Migration Is More Than Just Moving Data

Follow up with these cumulonimbus sessions at Team:

  • Build a blueprint: how to make your cloud migration a transformation. Walk through how to build a migration blueprint and create an effective cloud tenant map.
  • Jump-start your Atlassian cloud journey.  Learn how JP Morgan Chase prepared for its Atlassian Cloud journey with a 100k global user base, millions of Jira issues and thousands of projects hosted across 24 Jira instances.

ITSM and JSM Take On BSM
Three years ago Atlassian doubled down on the ITSM market. Their goal: unlock high-velocity teams. A few years later, they were named a leader in the 2022 Gartner® Magic Quadrant™ for IT Service Management Platforms.

No doubt, Jira Service Management is growing fast. As an Atlassian ITSM Specialized Partner, we’re doing our part to advance the JSM platform in new markets around the world.

These Team ‘23 sessions will help fuel your ITSM momentum:

  • End BSM Now. Bloated budgets, irritable teammates, outdated interface nausea… Sound familiar? If so, your organization may suffer from BSM, or what Atlassian calls Bad Services Management. (Check out Scott Farquhar’s tongue-in-cheek BSM video on our Jira Service Management page if you haven’t already.)
  • How Atlassian uses Jira Service Management for better HR solutions. Learn how Atlassian’s HR teams partnered with IT and saved thousands of work hours using Jira Service Management.

Feeling ready to tackle Atlassian Team ‘23? Rest up, pack light and have a great time. And stop by Booth 58—we look forward to seeing you!
