Dr. Gautham Pallapa just gave a talk, Expedited delivery: Accelerated business transformation through self-disruption, at Team 2021.

Thanks for your talk at Team 21. I was wondering if you could share a little bit more about the experiments and how the teams measured them?

For the experiments, we used Hypothesis statements. 

For each problem statement that we identified, we wrote cards that had the following format:

We believe that [building this feature]
[for these users] will achieve [this value].
We will know we are successful when [measurable outcome] is achieved.

We clearly outlined the metrics and data that would be necessary to justify if we met the outcome. Observability is big on my teams and we do not consider a story complete until it can be observed on our dashboards, so that helped.
