I have been an AUG leader since Summit 2016 where I was recruited by @Michelle Simkonis _NOVA_ and @Billy Poggi AUG NOVA_ DC.
I love being an AUG Leader because it allows me to learn from other users and admins about the tools and it give me a different perspective on how the tools are used. I am always learning something new at our meetings.
I have been using and supporting the Atlassian suite for about 8 years as an application administrator and as a system administrator. I think this give me a unique perspective on how the use of the applications and addition of enhanced features and custom changes directly impact the supporting system and applications themselves. I am a strong advocate of implementing standards and best practices to give users some guidelines on using the applications.
I love everything and anything about Atlassian's Confluence...... I love how easy it is to make beautiful, but meaningful content. I love all the macros that come with the application. I love the marketplace full of incredible add-ons that enhance confluence to make it a rich content management system.... I love sharing my knowledge about Confluence and how easy it is to create Dynamic and Modular content as well as the enhanced features and functionality created by utilizing add-ons/macros. I love sharing the things I have learned over the years... i.e. Tip & Tricks that help my community of users create better content.
