With Jira can I assign tasks and get their status ?

Hello @Dilip Shah , can you explain little more on what you mean by get their status?

You can assign tickets in Jira if you have Browser project, Assign issues, and Assignable user permissions in a specific project. Your Project Administrator should be able to grant you those permissions. To get the status of those assigned tickets you can use a JQL like : project =projectname AND assignee = currentUser() AND status is not EMPTY

Yes.  That's pretty much what Jira is for.

Could you explain where you are stuck in more detail?  There's not much we can tell you beyond "yes" from that question.
