what is better in Jira vs MS project?

It depends on what reporting is needed and if the organisation I am working for allows me to focus on getting the work delivered or prefers me to focus on creating artifacts for managers, customers, and/or a programme office.

MS Project can be a helpful tool in isolation but it is very isolated. The only thing I miss from MS Project is the Gaant charts - which are just an app installation away in Jira.
