Jira Software - How to create a Jira Dashboard in 3 Simple Steps

In this video tutorial we share how you can create a Jira Dashboard in 3 simple Steps:

Step 1: Create Filters 

Most gadgets in Jira require a saved filter to display the information.  You can use the basic search or advanced search to create the filters.  You can find more information on how to create filters here.

Step 2: Create a Dashboard

This is the easy part, just go to the "Dashboards" menu and create a new dashboard.

Step 3: Add the Gadgets

Once you have the dashboard created, add the gadgets.  Here is the full list of gadgets that can be used out of the box.

Important note

Make sure that the permissions to the filters and the dashboard are set properly or your colleagues/clients won't be able to access the beautiful dashboards you have created.
