Transition Jira Issue to ServiceDesk issue and workflows


We currently have issues in Jira under one organization. Once an issue is in progress it will need to be added to ServiceDesk for resolution by a different organization. Can the two workflows integrate where once it goes into Progress it will automatically be created in ServiceDesk then when it is completed in ServiceDesk it will flow back to the Jira project? What is the best way to join/link/keep track of the same issue under Jira and ServiceDesk?
