walking through documentation of Insight Discovery does not allow me to determine the capability wrt Cloud Discovery :  

  • what Cloud Config Items/assets are discovered
  • level of detail
  • how and to which level of detail can Insight Discovery help in managing impact of planned changes on Cloud infra ?

Hello,

Insight Discovery is designed for capturing the on-premise environment structure like your data centers or offices. If you would like to know which assets/configurations you have on your AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform environments then the best way would be to use Insight Integration products. Here are the details of their data model and configurations:

- Insight AWS Integration

- Insight Azure Integration

- Insight Google Cloud Platform Integration
