SMTP support for outbound email

Edited

Is it possible to configure Jira Service Desk Cloud to send outbound emails using an external email account via SMTP.  I see the configuration to retrieve email via IMAP for the Inbound channel, but I don't see a similar configuration controls for the outbound channel.

Hello @William English ,

Welcome to the Atlassian Community!

It is not currently possible to configure your own SMTP in in Atlassian Cloud applictions, as documented in:

However, the possibility to configure the sender email address for a Jira Cloud project that will also serve as the reply address for responses to notifications is already available and it is explained in the below documentation:

I hope this helps.

Cheers,
Dario
