I was wondering how we can enable on Jira SM with limited access of license the similar functionality to be extended to customers as well as have some way to segregate and hide internal vs external comments.

solution found so far:

have a master ticket: <communicate with customer> [customer role]

  -- have a child linked ticket: <communicate with internal stakeholders> [customer role]
