Custom report fields

Edited

How do I create a custom report so that it shows the custom field as a header on the report I built? I need to export the report to Excel to analyze ticket data by said custom field. It'd be good to see it on a pie chart as well, within JIRA. The field is request type that we have broken down into 25 sub categories. I do have admin rights so I am able to create customer reports.

Thank you in advance!

Hi @KahReem Copeland

You didn't mention what deployment type you are using, but if you are on server or data center, one possibility you can try is exporting your data with Better Excel Exporter. You can use a pre-built report or export the data and transform into the report you need.

(Please note that Better Excel Exporter is a paid and supported app and I'm part of the team developing it.)
