Can i install Jira service desk application and later install the addon from market place ?

Jira service desk is now an application . Thus do we still need to install jira software 1st and  then install jira service desk ?

Nope, you can download separate JSD and install it. you don't need to install Jira software.

Thank Yogesh , so I can buy license for JSD and later install the addon correct. As for Jira software usually who will use it ?  Developer ?
