Hello, I am new to Confluence. I am trying to find ways to create a documentation portal (with search options, widgets like options for guides, view analytics, and persona-wise content). I referred to the Confluence documentation but didn't get any content that explains how to create a documentation site. Can anyone please point me to the right resource that provides these instructions? TIA.
It's easy. Just start creating and arranging content in Confluence.
Create a space, that'd be the backend of your future documentation portal. There's even a documentation specific template. It's where you create and manage all your content.
For advanced features (persona-dependent contnent, workflow control, versioning, etc.), look into the Confluence Marketplace - there's plenty of apps, some free, some paid to enhance your Confluence site.
For example, Scroll Versions (with Variants for Scroll Versions) allows you to create conditional content based on personas. When you combined that with Scroll Viewport (that generates your public doc site), you can easily create a documentation portal with a dropdown menu to display the entire doc set for a specific persona. Also, Viewport allows you deploy analytical tools easily.
Comalatech's apps allow you to create workflows for individual pages and separate your backend space from the public site (Comala Publishing).
You can also explore integration with Slack, Google suite, etc.
Hope this helps! :)
I am new also. This was helpful. Thank you.

@Bibhudatta Sahu Welcome to Confluence!
There are a number of resources that you can tap into to help you on your journey of creating a Confluence documentation space. Atlassian University is a great place to start. The lessons are hands on and very instructional. There is also a course specific to Documentation Spaces!
Good luck!
