Can you filter Epics by whether they have issues or not?

I have a large project with a ton of Epics.  A good portion of them do not have any issues/stories attached to them yet.  Looking through the advanced search terms there seems to be no way to filter on if they have child issues or not.  Any suggestions?

Historically I have seen this done with an add-on such as ScriptRunner.  Take a look at the following posts:

Thanks Branden.  How can I tell if we have ScriptRunner installed or if it is available?
