hi team,
I'm doing analysis on Adaptavist ScriptRunner for jira plugin and seek clarifications related to below points. Kindly check and help.
1. Is this plugin actively used or not? How to find when was this plugin last used in jira system?
2. Is it only associated with workflows and issues? Or we can use it with other parameters of jira? If yes, what parameters?
Thanks
Ashima Bhatia
Scriptrunner is one of the few exceptions to the rule - you can get a good idea of where it is used.
There is a built-in script we tend to call the "script registry" - this lists all the scripts you have written or configured in the system, and where they are used. So you can say how much it is used.
No, SR is not limited to just issues and workflows. Like other apps, it can affect any part of Jira you care to use it in.
Hello @Ashima Bhatia
1. Marketplace vendors do not provide statistics on when their plugins were last used in their clients systems. That is confidential information. You can see from the Marketplace page for the app how many times it has been installed, and the last time the vendor updated it, which gives you some idea about active usage of the app. You can also search the community for posts that concern the app.
2. To get the answer to this you need to review the documentation for the product. For what other parameters of Jira are you hoping to use the product?
