how to hide fields in Jira based on the selection of a prior field

I am not a coder so using plugins such a scriptrunner or behaviors is not easy not to mention that the video/tutorials or out of date. So even if I follow them I can't get this done. JMWE is not helpful either.

What I am looking for is:

Create issue -  hide fields based on the selection of a prior field
Edit issue - transition visibility based on custom field selection i.e. if custom field design required = Yes then the transition available  from To do is

To do > In Design > Design Review Required > In Progress etc

however of custom field design required = No then

To do > In Progress > Code Review etc

Thanks in advance

Hi @Uzma Salahuddin

For field visibility on Create, you'll need either

For the transitions, you should be able to do this using Conditions in your Workflow - eg. a Value Field Condition

You'd have to build enough transitions to allow the two routes to exist, or if the Workflow is open (all <> all), then just hide transitions based on the field values.
