You want to embed custom content into your Jira Cloud? Custom Content is finally ready for Cloud!

Do you want to stay up-to-date with your build results in Jira? Refer to your team’s calendar? Or maybe have a live stream from a webcam for your event? With Custom Content for Jira you can seamlessly add any image or external web page in a secure and easy to configure manner.

With Atlassian’s journey to Cloud, we wanted to bring this experience to the Cloud as well. Using Forge, Atlassian provides all the infrastructure needed, so the data stays with Atlassian. Biggest advantage: Our app is GDPR compliant out-of-the-box.

How does Custom Content for Jira work in the Cloud?

Our goal is to embed Custom Content to your Jira instance as easy as possible in the Cloud. So, you can just add a Custom Content gadget on a dashboard and save it.

In the configuration of the gadget, you can specify which type of content you want to show, the URL associated with that content and the size of the gadget. As a Jira administrator, you can even define an allowlist to limit the domains that you would like to show. And there you have it, your shiny new gadget is ready to go. That’s all, it’s actually that easy.

Do you want to try it out?

You can find the Cloud version in the Atlassian Marketplace. Just start a free trial and let us know what you think. We are always looking forward to get feedback about how we can improve our app even further.
