What is the difference between plantUml and draw.io ?can we use draw.io instead of plantuml?

I have migrated from DC to cloud. Plantuml is not supporting in cloud. Is there any alternative for this?Can we use draw.io instead of plantuml?

Hi Taruna, thanks for your post. You can create a diagram from PlantUML text in draw.io, please follow the clickpath Menu > Arrange > Insert > Advanced > PlantUML to declara a diagram in draw.io. Our main use-case however is drawing diagrams (either manually or AI assisted), so we don't support a mass migration of existing PlantUML diagrams. But draw.io is a powerful diagramming tool that will for sure do the job for you, so you can give it a try for 30 days or even use it for free as long as you are below 11 Cloud users.

 When mass migration is not possible, How can we get the existing data in PlantUml from DC to cloud?

I never used the available PlantUML apps, but if there is no PlantUML alternative in Cloud, you probably have to export the diagrams as an image file and then attach that one to the page.

PlantUML is supported in the cloud and if you've been using Avono's on-prem solution you can easily migrate the diagrams to the new add-on.
