That feeling when your sensitive data was leaked

As technology advances, so does the need for protecting sensitive information. Data leaks can have devastating effects on companies and their clients. To better understand the impact of data leaks on admins, we decided to turn to an unlikely source: Artificial Intelligence. We asked Midjourney to show us what admins look like when their data was leaked, and the results were startling.

The AI generated a series of images that depicted panicked, stressed-out individuals staring at their computer screens with their hands on their heads. Some images showed Admins frantically typing on their keyboards, while others had them on the phone, presumably calling for help. The emotions on their faces ranged from fear to anger and everything in between.

Here are some of the results:

As you can see, Midjourney knows that data leaks can have devastating consequences for admins and their organizations. But let’s face it, funny AI generated images are not a substitute for a real-world prevention strategy. In fact, data leak prevention (DLP) is a vital practice that involves detecting and preventing data breaches, exfiltration, or unwanted destruction of sensitive data. A sound DLP strategy can help organizations protect their sensitive data and personally identifiable information (PII) as well as comply with relevant regulations, such as the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) or the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA).

However, DLP can be challenging to implement effectively, especially for large and complex organizations that handle multiple types of data across various systems and channels. DLP requires a combination of people, processes, and technology that can monitor, analyze, and control data flows and activities.

That’s where Polymetis Apps comes in. Our PII Protection apps for Jira and Confluence provide comprehensive and easy-to-use solutions for DLP. PII Protection can help you:

  • Identify your sensitive data across your Confluence und Jira

  • Take automated actions to prevent unauthorized access or exposure

With PII Protection, you can avoid the stress and hassle of dealing with data breaches and their aftermath. PII Protection can help you save time, money, reputation, and peace of mind.

Don’t let data leaks ruin your day. Try PII Protection today and see how it can transform your DLP strategy. Visit our website for more information or request a free demo today.
