Remove someone's email from my Jira Issue Ticket

Hello Jira Team,

I need your expert advice on the below please.

I have a pending issue in Jira. I then emailed accounting  (via Outlook, not Jira) and added our Jira email inbox in the cc. The email to accounting went to the ticket as form of comment but they are not showing up as part of participants. My participant is actually empty as of now.

Accounting informed that they receive daily emails from the ticket and they don't want it. I want to remove them from the ticket but I don't see a way. I don't see them anywhere except when I go to comment and I can see my previous email to them. 

How do I detach them from this ticket so they are not bothered every day?
