I was writing a script in the script console and accidentally hit the back button before copying it, there is a log of it running, but not the code that was executed, is that saved anywhere or is it lost forever?
I'm afraid you're out of luck with that one.
The console will often remember the last code you had in it. But that is probably more of a function of your browser's local storage. With chrome, I always see the console with whatever code I last had it in.
So if you go back to it and it's gone, then there is no retrieving it back.
To avoid the situation you described, I write all important code in IntelliJ and I keep several "console" script in there that I can just copy/paste as I need them.
