Took a long and circuitous route to my current role as an Atlassian Administrator and groovy developer. I started with a B.Sc Ag, then worked in FDA compliance (y2k and 21cfr11 computer validation). After a layoff, landed a job in a tech company as a QA Tester and ISO compliance auditor and eventually learned Jira enough to start administration. After age 40, I started groovy scripting and I haven't looked back.
