Postfunction "create subtask" always creates parent instead of subtask

Karolin Blunk July 10, 2018

After upgrading to Jira Server 7.10.2 and updating all add ons we are experiencing the following issues: Create subtask postfunction will create an issue with the correct issue type, but it will not be a subtask (subordinate of the parent it was created from). Opening the original parent there are no subtasks but when searching for those issues I find the subtasks (to be) on the same level as the parents. Errors are shown, but without any error log.#

Hey Karolin,

Could you please check you application logs for errors ?

You can find them at JIRA application logs

The issue has been resolved yesterday. The error was caused by an inactive email add on that threw an error in another postfunction (sent email) of the same workflow resulting in this behaviour.
