Save time by performing bulk actions on multiple Jira projects in your instance; with the Bulk Operations feature from Profields 7, editing project roles, deleting Jira projects, and editing the project lead in Jira it's way more simple.
Instead of individually selecting a project and perform a specific action over and over, apply up to seven different massive actions to multiple projects within the Profields List View. These massive operations can be performed on all projects, or on a subset which has been defined by applying filters. Of course, the permissions to use these actions are determined by the Jira Admin. Keep reading to know the three most used bulk operations that can be performed with Profields.
Bulk Delete Projects (including its schemes)
Now you can perform a Bulk deletion from two to thousands of projects at once, including its schemes and entities if you want to; this option will only apply to schemes that are not shared with any other projects that are not included in the delete action.
Bulk Edit Project Roles
Individually manage user roles within projects is one of the less productive tasks that can be done in Jira. With Profields you can perform user role changes on multiple projects at once. This specific operation is divided into three useful actions you will be able to perform in bulk, related to users on your projects: Add users to roles, Remove users from roles, and Clear roles from projects.
Bulk Edit Project Lead
As simple as it sounds but doing it massively on multiple projects makes a huge difference. Within Profields List View, this Bulk action will let you select a user as the project lead on multiple projects at once or can also be used to replace project leads that are currently assigned.
Who needs Profields 7 Bulk Operations?
The Bulk Operations feature was made to help Jira administrators and Project administrators who don't want to waste time on repetitive and less productive tasks, and need a reliable tool to perform critical tasks in bulk, making the process a lot quicker and easier.
