New Cloud Apps Roundup -- September 2021

Since our last roundup in August, our developer community has added over 185 new cloud apps to the Atlassian Marketplace! This is a big boost just in the past month, and with the winners of Atlassian’s annual hackathon, Codegeist, still to be announced and new cloud apps continuing to launch, we’re excited to see what our partners and developer community have in store for cloud customers as we enter this next quarter.

Here are a few highlights from the past month:

New Jira apps

Surveys for Jira Service Management 

This app helps teams measure and improve ITSM workflow with seamless, customizable user satisfaction surveys and review process tools. Surveys for JSM delivers NPS and CSat surveys with customizable questions and translations right in Jira Service Management. ITSM teams can review scores and trends, all within JSM.

Release Notes for Jira (free) 

Release Notes for Jira is a free app that allows you to create release notes from Jira automatically. This app lets you set up rules-based triggers, and set your release notes to publish in PDF, HTML, and JSON formats, sent to your email.

Advanced Issue Links 

This app allows you to build your own JQL filters and manage your issue links in an easy-to-use custom field. Advanced Issue Links fields allow users to link single or multiple issues in Jira based on their preferences.

FlashTest Agile Test Management for Jira (free) 

FlashTest is built to empower everyone in the team to plan and execute tests. With this app, team members can quickly write test scripts, link with requirements, add expected results, manage requirements and test cases using Jira built-in features, and more.

Skyvia Integration for Jira (free) 

Skyvia integrates Jira with major cloud apps and on-premise data sources with no coding. Automate business data flows across 45+ sources in any direction, replicate Jira data to databases on schedule, expose Jira data via OData and SQL endpoints, automate export/import of CSV files to Jira, and more.

Timesheet Check for Jira

Timesheet Check automatically checks your team’s timesheets from Tempo Timesheets to ensure compliance with labor laws. Set up rules, or even use preset rules that relate to the 🇪🇺 EU's Working Time Directive*, combine them into reports, and run them against the timesheets you want to check.

Secure Custom Fields for Jira

Secure Custom Fields for Jira allows administrators to create custom fields in Jira with permission settings that dictate who can view and edit a given custom field. With this app, teams can share tickets with more team members, while ensuring more sensitive information is only seen by those who need it.

Embed+ Pro for Jira

Embed+ Pro for Jira provides a simple way to seamlessly integrate 150+ apps into your Jira issues. Embed shared links by themselves or add multiple tabs with notes, images or PDFs.

Get Community Help for Jira (free)

This app, brought to you by a Community Member, allows you to search the Atlassian Community right from Jira! (Also available for Confluence).

Improved Diff for Jira (free) 

Improved Diff for Jira makes it easier to spot text changes in Jira issues. Instead of using the opaque before → after display for text changes in tickets of standard Jira, this app marks all added words and sentences in green, while removed sections are crossed out and marked red.

New Confluence apps

Space Tools Pro for Confluence

Space Tools Pro provides a large set of tools to efficiently copy, create, move and delete spaces, pages, and page trees in one central location. Manage and navigate Spaces and Pages with ease.

SoftComply Risk Manager for Confluence (free)

SoftComply Risk Manager for Confluence is a free Confluence extension of SoftComply Risk Manager for Jira, which automatically builds traceability between risks, requirements and tests for risk controls and risk verifications in Jira. The Confluence app displays risk tables and information in Confluence for cross-departmental transparency and alignment.

Inline Table Editing 

With Inline Table Editing, you can edit tables directly in view mode and use Excel-like functions, right in Confluence. Plus, filter your table data to your individual requirements to optimize work in Confluence Tables.

Advanced Children Display for Confluence (free) 

Navigate faster with an expandable table of contents that displays a Page’s Child Pages by default so you can always find your way and get context. Just click an icon next to the page title to see the page’s Children.

Smart Images for Confluence 

Smart Image for Confluence allows you to drag and drop images into Confluence that can then be annotated, edited, cropped, flipped, and more. Plus, organize images in a fully customizable image slider or gallery with transitions and autoplay functionality.

Variants for Scroll Documents

Variants for Scroll Documents allows you to create variants of your content at the page and paragraph level based on conditional user needs. With this app, you can deliver documentation based on user roles by labeling your content, define custom rules to decide when and where variable content will appear, and more.

Keep It Up to Date (free)

This app allows you to add a macro to any Confluence page that shows a list of outdated pages. Get a quick view of pages that need attention to keep your Confluence space up to date.

Reporting for Confluence (free in beta) 

Get actionable insights on your team’s Confluence instance with Reporting for Confluence. This app allows you to collect data and build customizable dashboards to analyze your team’s Confluence usage.

Notion for Confluence

For teams working in multiple platforms, create alignment with this Notion for Confluence app. This app enables teams to embed a full public or private Notion page in Confluence. Retain multiple block and text formats so users get the best reading experience in Confluence.

Sketch out images on a whiteboard in Confluence with this straightforward app!
