Hi,
I have created 4 boards in a single project and all these 4 boards have different QA leads.
The automation rule I want to create is that if an issue is transitioned from In Progress to Testing, it should be assigned based on the board selected and to that particular QA lead...
How Can I create this? If I know the sprint board then I can assign the to that particular tester.
I hope I have made it clear.
do you use any plugin/add-on for these boards or are those jora native boards? where exactly do you define the QA Lead of a board?
In general (native) boards are only views based on a filter. So issues just live within a pool of issues and status but never within a board itself. A board is only a configuration/filter which issues will be displayed.
To sum it up: I dont‘t think it‘s possible via automation to fetch the board where it was moved as it is just workflow tranisition (in progress -> testing).
Best
Stefan
@Stefan Salzl - I am not using any plugins. I have 4 different boards with 4 different QA's ...Project is same...
Since boards are different and running parallel sprints, I know which QA is responsible for which board.
So if an issue is moved to testing in a particular board then then it should be assigned to that particular QA only.
It is clear what I'm trying to say here?
