Introducing our latest Swanly feature release: the assignee roadmap 🤩✨

Hello community!

It’s been an exciting month for us at Jexo, and we’re thrilled to share our latest Swanly feature release with you: the Assignee Roadmap - thanks to which you’ll be able to better visualize and track team progress across projects!

Get insights on your team’s activity and performance

Get a good overview of your team’s activities by tracking individual tasks across projects. This new feature gives you access to all cross-project issues, for any person on your team.

Moreover, you can now spot long-lasting tasks and find room for improvements by analyzing individual progress performance.

Enjoy the ease of assigning tasks

Planning has never been easier. Simply assign an issue to any team member via the issue window, or you could wait a couple of weeks for the new ‘drag and drop’ release feature which will allow you to drop issues onto any of the roadmap swimlanes.

Customize your assignee view by grouping or using filters

You can now group/filter your roadmap by assignee, so you can clearly see your project’s tasks and who’s working on what.

1. Group by assignee in toolbar

2. Filter by assignee in toolbar

3. Filter by assignee in list view

Once you have grouped or filtered by assignee, you can then try filtering by status if you wish to see what tasks are done, what’s in progress, and so on. You can also filter by project to view your assignee’s tasks for that specific project.

Stay tuned for future improvements

Our Swanly drag and drop feature is in the making; but at this point, we’re happy to say that you can drag and drop any issue on your timeline, and choose a zoom view for scheduling (i.e. if you want to schedule for a specific week, simply drag and drop the issue onto your weekly roadmap timeline).

You can also schedule tasks daily, monthly, quarterly, bi-yearly and so on; all you have to do is drop your task wherever you want it.

Currently, you can drag and drop from the schedule panel directly into the roadmap - which makes scheduling much easier. But we’re working on giving you the ability to reschedule by simply dragging and dropping nodes, or the whole item.

In the near future, you’ll also be able to drag and drop issues onto the timeline, to assign to specific people as well, simply by hovering over that person.

We’ve got a lot in store for Swanly so stay tuned!
