How to view a correctly sorted issue list - when sorting on rank in outline mode

Håkan Klingensjö October 16, 2012

When viewing the task board in outline mode, and sorting on rank, GreenHopper places all issues that does not contain a sub-task at the bottom of the page (in the other issues section).

However, this means that the rank sorting is not shown correctly, for all issues. Issues containing sub-tasks are sorted on rank separately and issues with no sub-tasks are sorted in the "other issues" group.

Is there any setting you can change so that issues with and without sub-tasks are shown (and sorted) within the same group instead of 2 groups as it is today?

Hi Hakan,

This is currently a feature request that being tracked by our developer in :

GHS-5996 : Display issues with subtask according to priority

For now you might like to try just setting the swimlane configuration from Stories to JQL, all stories and subtasks will then be shown in rank order.

Hope this helps!
