How to export data to be used by PowerBI

I need to provide PowerBI data from internal JSM project.

Is there some free way to export basic report/dashboard to PowerBI.

Power BI Connector for Jira by Alpha Serve is a way, but it's too expensive for my use case model.

I need to apply it to only one Project (that has 6 members) but our Company profile is 250+ users.

Hello @emir_omeragic

As an alternative, you can try Time in Status for Jira Cloud add-on. It exports generated data to Power BI as you need it (if I understand you correctly).

Here's a use case on how you can export Jira data to Power BI.

This add-on is developed by my team. Please, let me know if you have any questions.

You can try a free trial and assure whether it can help.

Hope you find it helpful

If you want free reporting, then perhaps Jira to Google Sheets to Google Data Studio (GDS) would be your answer.

  1. Use Jira Cloud for Google Sheets to get the data into Google Sheets
  2. Then use a native Google Data Studio connector to connect Sheets to GDS

There are likely Google Sheets to Power BI connectors too.
