×I'm new to Jira and I'm would like to be able to install and use Jira and Greenhopper then show my boss how useful it is so that he would purchase it for our team. I don't want to install the software locally, since we are not supposed to install unapproved applications on our PC. Can I install on a hosted site for my personal use? Something like GoDaddy?
Yes :) Is the simple answer to that. As long as you have the right level of access to your server you can install Jira. You will just need to download the installer from Atlassian and sign up for an Evaluation license.
If you do not have the necessary access, then Jira Studio or just an Atlassian Hosted trial may be the answer, and comes pre-configured.
Thanks very much!
