Custom Error messages

When a user is submitting tickets with incorrect values, it would be nice to be able to display the error pop up with a custom message.

For instance, if we have an inventory project where we have unique serial numbers for each item, if a user tries to catalog an item with a serial number that has already been used, display an appropriate error message for why their entry didnt go through.

Hey Brian,

This is probably a job for a different plug-in than Automation — you could use something like ScriptRunner to validate a custom field when the user is creating it.
