I'm trying to build my perfect stat dashboard, but I met some difficulties, so I need an explanation from devs of Dashboard Hub, as it seems to ask them easier.
I found "Created vs Resolved" charts by Atlassian in native dashboards and same chart on Dashboard Hub, but their displays differ very much.
Native chart has more options: count or cumulative, grouping by period and overall trend (but last one not a big deal).
So explain please. Here are same filters, same timeframe, but very different picture. It seems that Dashboard Hub chart doesn't count those issues which don't have and active sprint as their latest, so I have here only long-term issues, which are sitting in a backlog for a months. I don't need that, I need a copy of a native chart, which count issues, regarding for every group period (day, week, etc.), not for a sprint.
1) How can I set dashboard hub chart to make it shows what I need? If not "created vs resolved", which other chart in DH can do this?
2) If it's not possible, I'm reaching out to community - how can I recreate this chart by myself with JQL custom charts for ex.? I really love Dashboard Hub UI, but I will have to move from it if it can't satisfy my needs there. This is like core-chart for my TechSup team.
Hi @Max Fedotov👋
My name is Iván, from the Dashboard Hub product marketing team.
You're right. At the moment, the visual representation of the Created vs Resolved gadget is misleading with certain periods.
Please know that we're already working on a new gadget that displays the created debt with two new metrics and an area chart.
We apologize for any inconvenience this issue may have caused. If you'd like to know more details, I kindly ask you to raise a ticket for our support team 🙂
May I ask about ETA on this new gadget? Does it hangs and waiting for years like Atlassian love to do it themselves, or it will be released soon? At least give me a year and quarter please, so I could think of next step

Hey @Max Fedotov
We don't wait years to release our gadgets :) We have this scheduled for Q2'24, but if you create a ticket in our support portal, we can follow up there and notify you as soon as it's ready.
I recommend to have a look from time to time to our product News page, so you can see our latests features: https://appfire.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/RDD/pages/146309364/Product+News
Kind regards,
Gorka

Thank you. I think, in the meantime I can deal with it via native dashboard. Q2 is not so far:)
