Hi Tony,

If you can save it on csv format, you actually can import following the documentation below:

https://confluence.atlassian.com/display/JIRA/Importing+Data+from+CSV

However, if you insist on using the excel format, you can follow the recommendation from the answer below:

Hi Richie,

The links you provided have not helped me to successfully import data into JIRA. Do you have any sample files/templates that outline, what data is what & what the format has to be? Have you imported requirements and test cases using SynapseRT? Any assistance would be greatly appreciated!
