Atlassian Verified gets a new name

G'day Atlassian Community!

You may have noticed something different about Marketplace lately – our Atlassian Verified program recently got a makeover!

The Atlassian Verified program, which has been a part of the Atlassian Ecosystem since 2014, was developed in order to symbolize the high level of quality apps from the vendors. Now, as Atlassian continues to scale and grow the ecosystem, we have decided to rename the program to Top Vendor to better align with the program requirements and customer expectations.

What does this mean?

It's pretty simple actually – we're bringing Atlassian Verified into the Top Vendor program to unify the programs around one brand.

The program requirements will remain the same and Atlassian Verified vendors will now become the third tier alongside the Platinum and Gold Top Vendors. Marketplace Vendors will still need to apply to be a part of the program, but vendors who are already enrolled in the Verified program will automatically gain Top Vendor status.

But wait, I ONLY buy Verified

If you’re a customer that only buys Atlassian Verified apps in Marketplace, rest assured that the program is not going away. No changes or modifications are being made to the program that you’ve come to know. We’re simply changing the name in order to better align our vendor programs around a common brand.

Let us know below! We’ll be happy to answer your questions about the rename.
