Appy Hours October Recap, Demo Recording, and Best App Demo Winner 🥳

Thanks so much to everyone who joined for our October Appy Hours! Our October presenters included experts in our Jira and Confluence project management apps:

@Chris Meijer from Avisi Apps presenting Git for Confluence - highlights include:

  • Need to help customers understand Git files or keep Git files up to date? Keep your Git content up to date in Confluence!

  • Avisi - ISO certified, high security standards

  • PUML files - can embed and show files within Confluence using Confluence permissions

  • Can press edit and “Share this file on my behalf”

  • You may also want to manage permissions, which you can with Git with Confluence Administration

    • Revoke access or migration permissions to yourself!

  • SVG and several additional formats

@Khawla Issaoui Creativas from Creativas presenting Smart Courses for Confluence - highlights include: 

  •  LMS tool

  • You can view courses within Confluence or find them within the space sidebar

  • Add sections within courses, with different types of content, embedding and PDF’s

  • Easy way to assign courses and also notify via email

  • Ability to set course as an exam

  • Set course cards with details shown on course cards

  • Metrics: global or by course

@Karina Silva from Elements presenting Elements Publish - highlights include:

  • Elements Publish helps you assemble and populate your pages so you have more detail straight from Jira!

  • Bring in fields from Jira and attachments and sync them to Confluence

  • “Recipe summary” - The project, issue type, status, JQL filter as well as on the Confluence side on where the Confluence page will live

  • We can use our own page or create from a Confluence template

  • You can choose a Jira automation rule in order to trigger creating a page

@Elena Ovdienko _Stiltsoft_ from Stiltsoft presenting Handy Macros for Confluence - highlights include:

  • Lots of information in Confluence that gets lost? Combine different macros in one tool so you can create the recipe that will work for you

  • Handy Cards - highlight overviews for your Confluence pages on the fly

  • Handy Buttons - features to add links to internal and external Confluence content

  • Combine status with page label. Easily find all pages in a particular status by clicking page label. You can sync these so they update automatically

  • You can create dynamic dashboards in Confluence
