Hi Community! Itโs time for the fourth and final discussion in our Apptoberfestivities: ๐จโ๐ผapps for business teams๐ฉโ๐ผ
Atlassianโs Marketplace is full of apps to help HR, marketing, finance, legal, and design teams save time and work together more efficiently with customized processes.
What we want to know is, what are your favorite apps for business teams? Which non-technical teams are using apps, and how are they using them?
Let us know!

Hi everyone,
Hope you are having a great Apptoberfest.
My favorite apps for Business teams would be:
- EazyBI: this is a powerful reporting app. Business teams need to have precise reporting in real-time, identify areas that need improvement, and make decisions (If they're fast, even better). Sales and partnerships teams use this app to keep track of how things are going.
- ScriptRunner: business teams can create script fields that provide important information. These are really important to have. A powerful tool that does many things. Need a bit of coding, but there's a library with lots of use cases and examples that help. Non-technical teams like sales or marketing can use this to find calculated information.
- Jira Workflow Toolbox: whenever you need to improve your business team workflow efficiency, think about this toolbox. Easy configuration and no coding. Works great. Non-technical teams use it and might not know their using it, which is a good point, right?
- Elements Connect: business teams will always need to bring data to Jira from external data sources. This app will allow you to bring them from any SQL database (big list) or using REST API. You can also show that info in any way your team needs. Cool stuff.
I am a Deiser representative and we develop different apps in the Atlassian Marketplace but I didn't want to include them (even though I would include 2 of them for Business teams) on the list.
I believe this is a solid pack of Jira applications for Business teams and non-technical teams. I could list a lot more, but these are the four top ones for me.
