Hey, I recently applied to Atlassian's Software Engineering Internship program in Australia. I am an international student who does have the working rights to be a full-time participant in the internship. However, I received an email saying that my application was not considered due to my visa status. I'm not sure who I can reach out to in order to clear this misconception up. If anyone can help me out that would be great! thanks
@Mihir Puranik please try the Atlassian Careers Community: https://pages.beamery.com/atlassian/form/talent-community/sign-up
There's also one specific to students that may help: https://pages.beamery.com/atlassian/form/talent-community-students/sign-up
Good luck!
Hi Mandy, thank you for the response! I have sent an inquiry and hopefully, it gets sorted in time

Hmm. https://support.atlassian.com/contact does not really have a good category for this raising this as a query with Atlassian, so raising it there might take a very long
If the email you received does not explain why your visa status is not accepted, or you think it is different to what they've worked with, then yes, I completely understand that you'd like more detail. Does the email not have contact details for further questions?
Anyway, I've asked the Atlassians here to take a look, they should be able to find the right person to talk to.

Hi Nic, thank you for the response! The response I received was from a "no-reply" email account. There was no contact info for any questions either.
Additionally, the reason I think there is some misunderstanding is that a few friends of mine with the same university and international student visa status got emails inviting them to proceed to the next round of interviews.
Thank you for reaching out to members that may be able to help out!

Hi Muhammad, thanks for your response! I don't see a category for internship/job application queries when trying to contact support.
