Working at Automation Consultants

  • Perform front and back-end development on products and applications
  • Assist in the design of new products and interfaces in existing products
  • Share knowledge and new methods or technologies with the team
  • Performance testing (unit and front-end)
  • Get involved with the management of the infrastructure (Docker, Jenkins, AWS)
  • Opportunity to travel for international events and training
  • Ongoing training and accreditations in the latest tools and technologies

The Ideal Candidate

  • Experience in a number of programming languages, frameworks and tools, including; Java, TypeScript (JavaScript), Python, React, AWS and Kubernetes
  • A relevant and strong degree, within a Computer Science based subject
  • Excellent problem solving and communication skills • Knowledge of algorithms and data structures
  • Demonstrable personal development projects – e.g. Open Source and GitHub
  • A knowledge of Atlassian software is beneficial – e.g. Jira, Trello, Confluence, Bitbucket
