timezone - BST

How can I account for BST which is currently GMT +1 without having to manually amend the timezone when the clocks go forward, then back?

Hi Tim,

Where are you looking to manage your time zone?

All Jira data is stored in UTC and is displayed in your local time zone.

For your personal profile, you can head to https://id.atlassian.com/manage-profile/account-preferences and adjust your personal time zone.

If you're using Jira Service Management and want to account for SLAs, look at the calendars set up for the project and select the appropriate time zone.

Cheers, Jimmy

@tim_cooke - hi Tim! Can you elaborate?

I'm not too familiar with BST (British Summer Time), and it's not obvious (to me) that it's supported on the user level (I'm looking around at https://id.atlassian.com/manage-profile/account-preferences )

Jimmy's answer is totally accurate, and hopefully that makes you feel better about your timezone challenges! 💪
