Subtask creation

Question

in Jira cloud when I try to add a subtask using the button +, I have to select the subtask type and give a summary. once I click on create we get a subtask create screen but not for the type selected. the issue type field does not keep the type selected.

This behaviour / bug leads to a lot of mistakes when we create subtasks (wrong issue type... which is crucial)

Is there any workaround to avoid this beheviour ?

Hi @Vikrant Yadav yes I tried different browsers I got the same behaviour. and no I dont have any automation rule that changes the issue type, I dont think it possible.

Hi @Abdeladim EL AOUMARI  It's weird issue. It might be browser issue , have you tested in other browser? or there might be some automation rule on sub-task issue type.
