I've been asked to create a burndown chart of the progress of the Epics but I do not know how to find the gadget to make one.  Does this exist or do I have to export the data to a different tool?

Hi @Mitchlyn Gentry,

Jira does not provide such a native gadget.

But you can easily do this by using the Release Burndown Burnup Chart gadget offered by our Great Gadgets app.

All you have to do is to configure the gadget to use a filter or JQL that returns the issues from your epic, like this:

parentEpic = DEMO-1

Set also the timeline and you will have the chart displayed right away. Optionally, you can choose to display forecast/ETA or milestones.

See examples of this gadget (and the many others offered by the same app) in these articles:

You could start with a 1-month of free trial. If you have any questions, please contact us at support@stonikbyte.com.

Hope this helps.
