Hi all, I have a web request to a link in an automation, the link sometimes gives 404 errors when its down.
The thing is, this completely errors out the Web-request automation. Is there any way to handle these requests, as I'd rather just add a comment to the ticket about the error as opposed to the automation itself failing and emailing the Automation Owner.
Hi @Calvin ,
Yes, in order to view the web request's status, you need to check the option "Continue running the rule even if the request response is not successful (i.e. non-200 response)"
You can reference this using the smart value highlighted in the image below:
Hi Jehan! Thanks so much for the above!
I think I misunderstood the checkbox. I thought it meant "continue running rule" as in continue the web request over and over until a 200. Not that it meant continue the rule as in the whole entire automation!

Is this option "Continue running the rule even if the request response is not successful" - is this available only on particular versions of Jira ?
We use Jira 9.4 .. but I do not see this option in the SendWeb Request action.
Thanks.

Hi @Shadab
that option is visible only after the first check box is checked of "Delay execution...."
Let me know if the option isn't available even after you've checked that

Hi @Shadab
I'd suggest raising a mew question on the forum with the jira_dc tag, you'll get better visibility for this question that way, please add the image in your new question too.
