That is a trap :-)

But seriously - if You run server installation (I assume, as with Atlassian Cloud You could recover it with Atlassian Support help), there is one simple, yet effective method, however requires access to deployment machine.

If you have another admin, maybe he can reset your Password.

As jira Server admin, I created a second admin account for me, which is not running on LDAP and which should work in all cases.
Maybe you can do something like that to Prevent Password loss in future.
