As It's the beginning of Q4, I started to wonder how other companies are handling drafting and working on their OKRs within Jira. I know that some organizations first run the OKR play, and then stay in Confluence, updating the OKRs in a shared document. But there are some downsides to that approach - staying in Confluence can make the OKR process less transparent and less interactive. It's also quite burdensome to attach connected Epics to each of the OKRs.
In Digital Toucan we first draft the OKRs in Confluence and then move it to a dedicated tool - in our case, it's our OKR for Jira plugin. That works quite well, as in the plugin you can connect the associated Epics easily. However, moving our OKRs from Confluence into the tool is not a one-click process.
Do you have any thoughts on where to draft the OKRs best and what Jira + OKRs workflow works for you?
