Using Jira Work Management for Cross-team collaboration

TJ Baker August 25, 2022

On the Jira Work Management marketing page (https://www.atlassian.com/software/jira/work-management) they show a board (roadmap?) view with what appears to with multiple projects.

How does one set this up? We'd like to have a main board for our Business Initiatives, and then other projects for each functional team to define their specific issues, but have it all viewable in one place so we can track all of the work across all of the teams.

Is there a Getting Started guide anywhere for this?

Hi @TJ Baker

The images you are showing are from advanced which is part of the jira software premium package.  With jwm, you won't be able to see the cross project collaboration.

Hi @Fabian Lim - many thanks for the reply and info.

It probably would be nice if Atlassian removed that image from the Work Management marketing page, as it's a bit confusing.

In any case, I appreciate the guidance, thank you!

Np.

The one you see at jwm, is the roadmap view within the project most likely.
