Transfer Data from IDALKO Table Grid to another plugin

Does anyone know how to transfer data from IDALKO Table Grid fields which store their data on the database rather than in JIRA to a plugin that does store it's data in XML in JIRA?

Thanks

Dave

Would you need the same functionality as the table grid editor, or just ensure that the data is included in the xml backup?

Francis

Hi Francis,

We are looking to also replicate the table field functionality in the destination plugin.

Please let me know if you need more detailed info.

Hi David.  Did you ever find a solution?  We are looking to do the same thing.

Thanks!

Hi @bill

The Table Grid Next Generation (TGNG) stores its data in the custom fields table (and this data will be included whenever exporting to XML).

Additionally - the Table Grid Migration Tool allows for the migration of the data to the TGNG.  Your active Table Grid Editor license, can also be converted to a TGNG license at no cost.  Just raise a ticket on our support portal.

Hope this helps

Francis

PS. Obviously I'm with the team that builds the addon
