There are no issues found when Search is created

Evgen April 19, 2019

Hello,

Please say who can help us or explain why it’s so like the below described.
In “Issues and filters”” create “Search” like:

project = UAT AND status not in (done, Cancelled, Stopped) AND Sprint != 180 ORDER BY priority DESC

Result returns only 8 issues, but in Backlog we have more issues which don’t in sprint (must show more issues).

@Evgen

Hi Evgen,

how does the filter of the board / backlog that you are referring to look like?

Cheers

Hi,
I don't understand where was wrong:

project = UAT AND status in (Agreement, "In Progress", "In Release", Reopened, Testing, "To Do", "Under Review") AND Sprint = 183

on request issues 27 tasks.

project = UAT AND status in (Agreement, "In Progress", "In Release", Reopened, Testing, "To Do", "Under Review")

85 tasks found on request (removed Sprint)
http://prntscr.com/nfo09k

project = UAT AND status in (Agreement, "In Progress", "In Release", Reopened, Testing, "To Do", "Under Review") AND Sprint != 183

that is, it is logical that the request should be:
85 - 27 = 58
but outputs 8, why?

@Evgen

Not 100% sure but think that if issues do not have a sprint assigned at all

you will need to use

sprint IS EMPTY OR sprint NOT IN openSprints()

@Evgen

would be great if you could mark that issue as answered, just in case someone might look for a similar answer

Cheers
