Jira has three different Roadmaps

Lavanya Tamarapalli August 12, 2019

Bringing it all together

1. Jira Portfolio -  Able to create roadmap and sync the issues in projects, but not able to sync the current sprint cycles

2. Confluence Roadmap - High level planning, and can attach the issues

3. Next-gen Project roadmap - Plan the project

Can someone suggest the best ways to use the roadmaps to manage the product vision and roll up the key objectives?

Hello

This is a rather voluminous question)

As for me, being a manager, it’s convenient for me to do this:
1) Lead in each project tasks, by epics, releases, components. Set up the filters and dashboards I need to control tasks.
2) In the Jira Portfolio, bring together the necessary projects that belong to one direction in order to monitor the portfolio of projects, but not just all projects
3) At Confluence, keep documentation, requirements, meeting notes. I do not use a Confluence Roadmap, I think this is redundant, if you have other tools
