Hi All,
I want to share our use case which some of you might have faced and would like suggestions or tips for implementing the use case.
Use case:
We are trying to migrate our jira instance from oracle 10g to PostgreSQL 9.6, our instance is huge with 2 million issues. When I contact atlassian premier support team, they suggest to use the Jira's inbuilt Backup system option to make a back and then restore the backup after connecting jira with the new database.
I am trying to do it that way but it always shows some or the other errors and the import does not complete after the 90% point.
If anyone worked on this kind of use case and was able to successfully migrate from oracle top postgres, it would be great to hear any tips from you guys.
Another important fact: our backup file is 50G
