How to create a new workflow or Update existing Workflow in Existing Project?

Edited

Hello Sir/Madam,

Due to the project requirement, I have to update the existing workflow or create a new workflow. But when I tried to access Workflow page it shows that "This workflow is read-only as it's used by other projects. If you really need to make a change, ask your Jira administrator for help."

So, is there any way to create a new workflow in an existing project?

Note: I have admin rights.

Please find below the details

My Project name: Conformance

Workflow name: Copy of default jira workflow

Thank you.

Regards,

Pritam

Hello

We can not see your project, for getting more details.

But, in your case, you do not seem to have Jira Administrator rights, but you have Project administrator. Therefore, you cannot change the current workflow.
In a JIRA, the project administrator can change the workflow if it is completely independent, and in your case, this is a share configuration

You need to ask the administrator’s Jira (or do it yourself, if you still have rights), create a new workflow and replace the current project workflow with a new one, then you can edit it

I hope this helps you
